-tâ, f. abst. ɴ.; -tâ,

25)
UKT 150201: Sesha, शेष - the Naga-serpent, on whom Déva-god Vishnu rests, is probably the Milky-Way visible in the night sky. The Milky-Way is known to Bur-Myan as
{na.ga:}, and superstitious people would look for its head. They would avoid taking a journey in the direction of its head-to-tail. The direction is given in Myanmar traditional calendar. See an example on the Index page - index.htm. It is probable that the ancients had worshipped the Naga-in-the-Sky, and the Vishnu-worshippers had made up a story stating that the Naga-in-the-Sky is just a bed for their Vishnu-déva. The story brings to mind the story of Mucalinda Naga protecting the Buddha with its hood. The image of Buddha protected by the Naga is a popular theme in many Myanmar pagodas. See Folk Elements in Buddhism -- flk-ele-indx.htm , and go to Cult of Naga - ch07-cult-naga.htm .

UKT from UHS: mfn. without end, without
division. m. king of Naga, Nibbana
UKT note 130305: "endless" is the literary meaning. Hindu religionists throw in the name of their Deva-god Vishu, whereas the Myan Buddhist religionist throw in their idea of a protector, King of Nagas, and also their idea of endlessness -- the Nibbana. Ref. to the Hindus, any member of the Hindu Trinity, the Brahma, Vishnu, & Shiva, would do. Why did they settle on Vishnu? It probably shows that Skt-Dev was the original religion of the IE speakers. I opine that a language must remain religion neutral.

{a.na.ba.}
UKT 130917: Skt-Dev did not seem to have
{ba.} ब as a phoneme. The glyph corresponding to it looks like being borrowed from
{wa.} व
{wa.} व + diagonal -->
{ba.} ब
In Bur-Myan,
{wa.} is a perfectly rounded circle (representing Perfection) whereas
{ba.} is a circle dented at the top (showing the Third Imperfection). Macdonell did not list any entry with
{a.na.ba.}, whereas U Hoke Sein gave just a couple.
My conjecture is that the Sanskrit speakers who did not have the phonemes{ba.} and
{wa.}, and have corrupted the ancient ideograph of the Indus-Saraswati civilization. See my note on Swastika - the ancient magico-religious symbol - in LANGUAGE AND RELIGION
