Dr. Tun’s research career started with a structural investigation of diammonium hexafluorotitanate, the very first project carried out as part of his graduate study in early 1980. Since then Dr. Tun has authored or coauthored more than 80 research papers published in refereed international research journals. These papers span many diverse fields of Condensed Matter Science (more traditionally called Solid-State Physics) but their central theme usually is study of a material with some unusual property or a model system exhibiting an interesting phenomenon that is of fundamental importance.
