UKT: Though the official Burmese-Myanmar spelling for this plant is {hkying:},
nobody calls this plant as such. Instead it is always known as {gying:}, and it is also popularly spelled {gying:}. You will notice that LSR also uses the spelling {gying:} in giving the Family name of the Zingiberaceae. You will see the same entry in 038. {hkying:} in hka-med.htm.
