UKT notes

Virata

From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virata 110411

Virata (Skt: विराट), in the Hindu epic Mahabharata, was a king in whose court the Pandavas spent a year in concealment during their exile. [UKT ]

Virata was married to Queen Sudeshna and was the father of Prince Uttara and Princess Uttarā, who married Abhimanyu son of Arjuna. [UKT ]

[Abhimanyu and Uttarā had a son named Parikshit] who succeeded Yudhisthira to the throne of Hastinapura, after the war of Mahabharata.[1]. [UKT ]

He [UKT: Yudhisthira ?] finally gets killed by Drona during the Great war of Kurukshetra along with his three sons, named Uttara, Shveta and Shankha.
